Monotropa Uniflora (Mono “One” tropa “turn” Uni “One” flora “flower”) is also known as ghost plant, ghost pipe, Indian pipe, Indian Ghost Pipe, etc.
Sustainably Harvested in the west northern region of central Florida, USA from a coniferous forest bordering the Goethe Forest, this tincture includes only the “above ground” essence from carefully harvested FRESH flowers and their respective above ground stems.
This is a strong tincture made from 30 complete flowers, including their above ground stems only, no roots, in 16 ounce Mason Jar batches of alcohol. The flowers were steeped for 60 days in 80 proof 100% U.S.A. made Tito’s vodka, gently and methodically turned and “burped” once per week. Each batch was then individually strained through BRAND NEW cheese cloth and a sterile fine mesh stainless steel strainer into 4, 4 ounce bottles.
Alcohol tinctures are much stronger than glycerin tinctures, The alcohol pulls more from the plant than glycerin. This is a true tincture, not an essence or glycerin tincture. No water is added.
Current batch has a Date Of Bottling (DOB) of January 2022. Store properly in a cool dark place with the dropper empty and snugly sealed. Do not over tighten the dropper! Estimated shelf life of approximately 3-5 years.
Our Monotropa tincture has a sweet earthy blueberry taste. Beautiful purple, amethyst color. This is a fairly elusive and rare plant/flower whose habitat is threatened. We make our tincture in small batches, with a limited quantity. Our tinctures will only be available until we are sold out. We hope to be able to sustainably harvest again next season, however this plants existence is based on Natures desires.

Dosage: Research shows it is advised to start with a small amount such as 1 to 5 single drops and wait at least 15 minutes before another dose. You may increase the dosage as needed to your personal dosage, with a suggested maximum dose of 15 drops, not to exceed more than 1 ounce per hour.
